How we work

Four steps, in order. No surprises.

The sequence matters: we won't forecast off books we haven't looked at, and we won't recommend a system before we understand how you actually run the business.

1

Discovery call

Thirty minutes. You tell us what's keeping you up at night; we ask about your business, your team, and what you already have in place. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so and point you somewhere useful.

You getA clear yes/no on fit and a rough idea of scope and cost.
2

Financial review

We look at your books, bank activity, AR/AP, and the reports you currently receive. Usually a week. We're looking for what's wrong, what's missing, and what's fine and just needs to be left alone.

You getA written findings memo and a proposal with a fixed fee and timeline.
3

Stabilize

Cleanup and close come first. Reconciled accounts, a closing calendar, corrected entries, and a monthly package you can rely on. This is the cornerstone — everything else is set in reference to it.

You getCurrent, reconciled books and your first monthly financial package.
4

Lead

With trustworthy numbers in hand we move to forecasting, budgets, KPIs, and the monthly review where we decide what to do next. This is the ongoing CFO relationship — a standing meeting, a direct line, and a partner in the decisions.

You getA 13-week cash forecast, an annual budget, and a monthly owner's review.
What working with us is like

Direct, plain-spoken, and on a schedule.

You'll always know when the close will be done and when we'll meet. We explain things in the language of your business, not in accounting jargon. And we'll tell you what we'd do if it were our money — then respect that it's yours.

We work remotely with periodic on-site days, and we're comfortable in QuickBooks, Sage, Foundation, and most construction and job-cost systems.

Start with step one.

A 30-minute discovery call costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
